We had a group crit with Amber, Simon and some peers and presented our ideas to each other. We then got feedback from the group, and here are three constructive criticisms I had to think about:
1. Experiment with different paper stocks. As I am creating a typewriter font this could enhance the texture of the type, and make it more realistic if I try drawing on different materials.
2. Damaged Text. Amber suggested making the text slightly uneven, at different angles subtly or parts of the text missing to create a more distinct typewriter effect.
3. Scale. When designing the font, it needs to be able to work at different scales because the final font will be produced on A1 tracing paper. This means the thickness of the stroke might have to be altered if it has previously been produced smaller, which mine has.
