Here is my development.
I thought about using a serif firstly, to contrast with the contemporary colour.
I started playing around merging letters together.
And joining them up to reflect that we are a team.
I didn't like how the L and I connected in a serif, so I tried a sans serif.
I gave up on the interlinking concept in the end because it wasn't working. It reduced legibility.
I tried blocking gaps in, but it doesn't suit a professional studio. Although fun, it still needs to look professional so that we look trustrworthy.
I tried it slanted, but just looks tacky.
Then I added round corners which looks more friendly and approachable.
I tried scaling the logo down to see how it looks. This is probably a bit small.
I added design studio underneath, which looks a lot more legit. This is what I will show tomorrow, I don't want to spend too much time on it when everyone else will have designs to show.
